Unemployed Goods
Streetwear Brand Design | Concept + Apparel Graphics
Project Overview
Unemployed Goods is a streetwear-inspired clothing brand I created to explore the intersection of bold design, cultural commentary, and everyday wearability. This project is especially meaningful to me because having my own clothing brand has been a dream of mine for a long time. Bringing Unemployed Goods to life gave me the chance to combine my love of design, streetwear culture, and storytelling into something tangible.
Concept & Direction
The idea behind Unemployed Goods is rooted in the belief that clothing can spark conversation. Each design blends humor, sincerity, and retro influences, giving the brand a voice that is approachable, playful, and distinctive. This brand reflects both my design perspective and my long-standing ambition to create apparel that carries meaning beyond the garment.
Design Elements
Playful Characters – A cheerful globe mascot promoting positivity and inclusivity.
Bold Typography – Poster-style graphics that encourage risk-taking, growth, and authenticity.
Outcome
Unemployed Goods represents the fulfillment of a creative dream, transforming sketches and ideas into an authentic, cohesive brand. The project enabled me to explore branding from concept to final product, showcasing my ability to translate illustrations and typography into apparel. The result is a collection that balances streetwear edge with personal storytelling, authentically encouraging individuality and imperfection.
